Intellectual Property Policy

Effective Date: 20.01.2025

1. About This Policy

This Intellectual Property Policy ("Policy") outlines how Sinai Ltd ("we," "us," "our") addresses claims of intellectual property infringement on its platforms, including websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Sinai Services").

Sinai respects intellectual property rights and requires users to do the same. By using the Sinai Services, users agree to comply with the Sinai User Guidelines, applicable laws, regulations, and the intellectual property, privacy, and other rights of third parties.

3. Trademark

What is a Trademark?

A trademark is a word, symbol, slogan, or design that identifies and distinguishes the source of products or services. Trademark law protects against consumer confusion regarding the origin or affiliation of goods or services.

How to Report Trademark Infringement

If you are a trademark holder or their authorized agent and believe your trademark is being infringed on the Sinai Services, you can submit a notice of alleged trademark infringement.

Include the following in your notice:

  • Details of the trademark being infringed, including registration information where applicable.
  • A description of the infringing material and its location on the Sinai Services.
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address).
  • A statement affirming your good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the trademark owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Submit your notice via email or post to our designated trademark agent:

Misuse of the Trademark Reporting Process

Sinai may take action against accounts submitting fraudulent or improper trademark claims, including termination of the account and potential legal consequences.

4. How We Handle Claims

Sinai reviews all claims submitted through the designated channels. Upon receiving a claim:

  • We evaluate the claim and may take appropriate actions, such as removing the reported content or restricting its access in specific regions.
  • We may communicate with both the claimant and the user responsible for the reported content to clarify actions taken, gather additional information, or explain our decision.

Appeals Process

If your content or account is mistakenly actioned, or if you wish to contest a decision:

  • You may submit an appeal following the instructions provided in our email correspondence.
  • Appeals will be reviewed, and content may be reinstated if the claim is resolved in favor of the original user.

5. Automated and Manual Content Review

Sinai employs a combination of automated tools and manual review to detect and address potential intellectual property violations. These efforts are continuously refined to protect intellectual property rights effectively.

6. Additional Measures

  • Sinai reserves the right to modify this Policy as necessary to comply with evolving legal requirements or operational needs.
  • Users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may face account termination under our repeat infringer policy.
